To ensure that anyone entering the kindred shares these values, we kindly request that you submit all your social media profiles for review. We understand that this may seem invasive, but this step is taken to ensure that individuals with hateful ideologies or association with hateful groups are not granted membership.
Once you have submitted your social media profiles, they will undergo a comprehensive review process. A council, made up of respected members within our kindred, will carefully assess each profile. The purpose of this review is to ensure that your beliefs align with the values we cherish as a community.
Please note that the council's role is not to invade your privacy or infringe upon your freedom of expression. Instead, we aim to safeguard our community from any potential harm caused by hateful ideologies or individuals who promote divisive or discriminatory practices.
After the council members have reviewed your social media presence, they will cast their votes. This voting process allows for a collective decision, ensuring that multiple viewpoints are taken into account. Once the voting phase is completed, you will receive an email informing you of the council's decision.
If your application is approved, you will be invited to a gathering of the kindred, where you will have the opportunity to meet our community members. During this gathering, you will have the chance to ask questions and engage in open discussions. This is a vital step to ensure that you feel welcomed and included within our community.
Upon the conclusion of the gathering, the kindred will proceed to conduct a majority vote to finalize your acceptance into our community. This is done to give every member an equal voice in welcoming new individuals and maintaining harmony within our group.
Once the majority vote is completed, if it is in your favor, we extend our warmest welcome to you! Joining Southern Vinland Kindred will mark the beginning of an enriching journey filled with meaningful connections, shared experiences, and a sense of belonging.

This package includes a study copy of the Havamal and the Poetic Edda, essential texts that will deepen your understanding of our Norse heritage. Additionally, you will receive a Kindred Arm Ring and a Kindred Mjolnir, which you can obtain by making a $130 donation. We want to emphasize that donations are not mandatory, but they greatly assist us in funding events, constructing structures, and acquiring land for the benefit of our Kindred. Rest assured, all contributions are transparently managed and subject to a majority vote by all members before being utilized. Council members do not personally benefit from any donations, as they are wholly reinvested into our community. Furthermore, as a new member, you will gain access to our Discord server. Here, we conduct virtual classes, provide a virtual library of PDFs, and offer a platform for daily interaction and support from fellow Kindred members.
